I bought a WESD51 station just over a month ago, and unpacked it. I did not actually try to use it until today due to a bunch of unrelated issues. When I plugged it in, meaning to do a little work, I found that the unit was dead. The tip wouldn't heat, and the displayed temperature was way off.

Very disappointing... the Weller units of yesteryear were reliable. This DOA unit doesn't even have a front panel that fits (i.e., doesn't have a corner that sinks in when you press on it)

I purchased this oversize window insulator kit for my 16 month old's bedroom which had a pretty good sized draft. The window is quite large (68 x 64) so this is the kit that I needed. Upon receiving the kit I followed the instructions and from start to finish the install took me around half an hour. Once complete and hairdryed, the plastic film is barely noticeable. At certain angles I can see a slight glare, however I may do another pass with the hair dryer as I don't think I got out every last wrinkle. This is a simple process and a little bit fun to do and watch the wrinkles go away.
